Technical Tuesdays:

Carson has started a gathering called “Technical Tuesdays”. Every Tuesday at lunch, a new topic of building, specifications or contract administration is explored. Staff attendance has been amazing to date!

Social Committee:

The first project for this group of enthusiastic staffers was the planning of a monthly potluck to celebrate birthdays. The debut event met with rave reviews – due to amazing food and even better company! We can hardly wait for each month’s birthday celebration.

Not all our events revolve around food! The team let off some steam in a family bowling night and the office sponsored a family over the Christmas holidays through the Surrey Christmas Bureau. Coming soon is our first office movie night. The show will be My Architect, a documentary about Louis Kahn’s illegitimate son and his search to know his father through the legacy of architecture.

Other events in the planning stage include mini-golf, a picnic, ‘at-a-boys’ (to congratulate accomplishments such as passing an exam), and, of course, theme days. With all of the creative ideas, the next event is sure to be a huge success!
